On September 15, the Nairobi Hospital was rocked by the tragic death of Eric Maigo, the Acting Finance Director, whose body was found in his city home with 16 stab wounds. The police have since launched investigations into the incident, and the circumstances surrounding the murder remain unclear.

The body of Mr. Maigo was discovered in a pool of blood at his home in Woodley Estate, Nairobi County. According to the Kilimani Police Station boss, Moss Ndiwa, the victim had 10 stab wounds on his chest and the rest on his sides. It appears that the attacker approached him from behind, throwing the weapon with force.

The police suspect that a female friend of the deceased may be responsible for the murder. Witnesses reported hearing Mr. Maigo groaning in pain, and when the police arrived, the woman who was in the house refused to open the door and had already escaped through a window. The police are currently pursuing the suspect, who remains unidentified at this time.

The Nairobi Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, James Nyamongo, sent a memo to the hospital staff, informing them of the tragic loss. He expressed his shock at the news and extended his condolences to Mr. Maigo’s family. The CEO also praised the late finance director for his dedication and contribution to the success of the hospital.

As investigations continue, the Nairobi Hospital and its staff are mourning the loss of a valued member of their team. The police are determined to bring the perpetrator to justice and uncover the truth behind this heinous crime. In the meantime, Mr. Maigo’s family and colleagues are relying on the support of their community and keeping them in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
