MedRisk, a managed care organization specializing in the physical rehabilitation of injured workers, has announced the appointment of its president, Sri Sridharan, as the company’s chief executive officer. In his new role, Sridharan will lead strategic leadership initiatives across all aspects of the organization as it continues to operate in the workers’ compensation field.

The decision to elevate Sridharan to the role of CEO was met with confidence by Mike Ryan, executive chairman of MedRisk and its board of directors. Ryan praised Sridharan as a dynamic leader committed to the organization’s purpose of assisting both patients and clients. He expressed his satisfaction in naming Sridharan as CEO and his belief that he will lead the company to new heights.

Sridharan has a wealth of experience in executive leadership, with over 20 years of experience. Prior to joining MedRisk, he held key positions at prominent insurance organizations such as Marsh. During his tenure at MedRisk, Sridharan worked closely with the leadership team to implement advancements in client management, analytics, and provider relations. These efforts have resulted in operational enhancements aimed at elevating client service, the introduction of new technology to enhance patient engagement, and the streamlining of processes to improve provider satisfaction.

Sridharan initially joined MedRisk in 2022 as the chief client officer before being promoted to president in 2023. He also holds a master’s degree from the University of Michigan.

The announcement of Sridharan’s appointment as CEO demonstrates MedRisk’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and driving the organization forward in the workers’ compensation industry. With Sridharan at the helm, MedRisk is well-positioned to continue its mission of providing exceptional care and support to injured workers in their journey towards rehabilitation and recovery.
