As part of their “Freedom Tour,” the band will be stopping at Bridgeport’s Total Mortgage Arena on April 29, 2024. This show will mark the last performance on this leg of the tour.

Fans can expect a memorable night of rock and nostalgia as Journey takes the stage. Formed in 1973, Journey has had a long and successful career, becoming one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Despite the absence of their iconic frontman Steve Perry, the band continues to deliver captivating performances with original member Neal Schon leading the way.

Joining Journey on this tour will be Toto, another legendary band in the rock genre. Toto rose to fame with their hit single “Africa” in 1982, which remains a beloved classic to this day. The collaboration between Journey and Toto promises to be a treat for fans, bringing together two powerhouse bands on one stage.

This upcoming performance at Total Mortgage Arena will be particularly special for Bridgeport music enthusiasts. As per setlist.fm, a website that tracks concerts and live performances, this will be Journey’s first-ever show in Bridgeport. Fans can expect an electrifying atmosphere as the band delivers their greatest hits and celebrates five decades of music.

Tickets for the Bridgeport concert will go on sale soon. Citi Cardmembers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets through a pre-sale on Tuesday, September 26, at 10 a.m. For the general public, ticket sales will begin on Friday, September 29, at 10 a.m. It is advised to act quickly, as these tickets are likely to sell out fast.

Journey’s “Freedom Tour” has been a momentous celebration of the band’s incredible journey throughout the years. The tour kicked off in 2023, with notable performances including a show at Hartford’s XL Center in March. Toto also joined Journey on stage for the XL Center performance, making it a night to remember for fans.

In addition to their live performances, Journey recently released their fifteenth studio album, “Freedom,” in 2022. This album marked their first record in over a decade, showcasing the band’s versatility and continued musical prowess. The “Freedom Tour” serves as a perfect opportunity for fans to experience both classic hits and new material from one of rock’s most iconic bands.

Prepare yourself for a night of timeless rock music as Journey and Toto take the stage at Bridgeport’s Total Mortgage Arena.
