SIDNEY – Prudential Advisors & VFS: Health and Insurance Benefits, owned by lifelong Sidney residents Jerry and Adam Vanderhorst, will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new office on Tuesday, October 3rd at noon. With over 20 years of experience in financial advising, group benefits, and health insurance, the Vanderhorst’s have been serving the needs of the local community. They have been affiliated with Prudential since 2020 and are thrilled to have the opportunity to open their own office.
Jerry Vanderhorst holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bowling Green State University and a master’s in business administration from the McGregor School of Business. He has vast expertise in the health insurance and financial industry, accumulated over two decades. Adam Vanderhorst, a graduate of Ohio State University in 2020 with a degree in finance, joined his father in the family business.
Both Jerry and Adam are committed to providing their clients with comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and insurance services. They cater to people of all ages and stages in life, from young families starting out to individuals looking to build wealth for retirement. Additionally, they assist those who are nearing retirement and require assistance in formulating a plan, as well as those who are already retired and need guidance on managing their income effectively.
While Adam specializes in financial planning, Jerry is focused on individual health insurance and Group and Medicare benefits, alongside being a Prudential adviser. Jerry possesses the knowledge and expertise to help clients understand the healthcare marketplace and explore the available options.

The Vanderhorsts’ clientele extends throughout Ohio and parts of Kentucky. While the majority of their clients are based in Sidney and the surrounding areas, they are licensed to operate in any state in case a client relocates.
