Dallas-based Climate Commodities has launched a new subsidiary, Climate Commodities Finance Partners (CCFP), with John Jose, a former family office executive, appointed as president. CCFP will provide customised financing solutions to alleviate capital bottlenecks in the climate economy. Jose will lead the rollout of a suite of financing solutions across all major climate economy sub-sectors, including critical minerals and materials, solar, energy storage, hydrogen, carbon capture, sustainable agriculture and the circular economy. CCFP will be supported by Climate Commodities’ product suite of off-take, feedstock and counterparty credit risk management solutions. In addition, climate risk start-up Climate Risk Partners has merged with Climate Commodities and will rebrand as Climate Commodities Risk Solutions.
